2019 Farm Trail Weekend

Nevada County Grown’s second annual Farm Trail Weekend July 20 & 21, 2019, from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day.  Nevada County farms, ranches and wineries open their arms to host a weekend of fun activities, tours, food, music and more! Fun for the whole family. Pack a picnic lunch or grab a meal at one of the participating stops. Map your trail to visit new places and meet your neighbors that grow our local food, create local specialty products and bottle some amazing wine and beer.

Our goal is to strengthen the connection between local agricultural producers and the larger community by assisting local agricultural producers in marketing their products and educating the community about the importance of supporting local agricultural producers.

Did you know?

In 2017, Nevada City, in conjunction with Grass Valley, was selected to serve as one of California's 14 inaugural state-designated Cultural Districts celebrating the area's heritage along with the people, places, traditions and events that contribute to the quality of life here.

The first Come Home To Eat was organized, with 300 people gathering to hear from farmers and ranchers, and then joining in a sumptuous meal of local foods and wines.

Distribution of our Farm Guide has increased to 20,000 copies per year.
